In 1957, Wermers began as a construction company based in San Diego, and since its founding the family, now in its third generation of leadership, has grown into one of Southern California’s premier multi-family builders, developers, and investors. Wermers has built hundreds of projects and tens of thousands of units creating billions of dollars in value across the Western United States. The companies continue to build on their legacy of high standards, partner relationships, and unmatched expertise.

HISTORY
Our history in the industry spans over 60 years. Beginning in San Diego in 1957 with single-family residences, James J. Wermers started his company to support his family and showcase his talents as a skilled contractor. Since then, Wermers has grown to designing and building some of the largest residential development projects across California and is recognized as an industry leader in multifamily in the Southwest.
